My organization wishes to join the World Congress
The World Congress has several different categories of membership, described below.
All figures are in U.S. dollars, and may increase in future years. The fiscal year and our membership year is September 1 to August 31.
Voting Member Organizations
Voting Member Organizations must be:
Primarily gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or transgender and primarily Jewish
a nonprofit organization or structured on a not-for-profit basis
at least 10 members in good standing as determined by the organization and
meeting at a prearranged time and place at least once a month.
The dues payable are based on your organization’s number of members (as defined by your organization) on August 31st or on the last day of your organization’s most recent fiscal year, whichever number is higher. Voting membership dues are as follows:
minimum dues of $72.00 (34 or fewer members)
otherwise $1.90/member for the first 100 members
$2.75/member for members 101 - 400
$1.40/member for each member over 400
Associate Member Organizations
Associate member organizations must be:
primarily gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or transgender and primarily Jewish
a nonprofit organization or structured on a not-for-profit basis; and,
meeting regularly as defined by the organization.
Associate member organizations may apply for voting membership (without meeting all of the criteria for voting membership) following one full year of membership in the World Congress. Associate membership dues are $72.00 for FY2010. The fiscal year is September 1 to August 31.
Adjunct Member Organizations
Adjunct member organizations must be:
primarily gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or transgender with a secondary focus on Jewish concerns, or
primarily Jewish with a secondary focus on gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or transgender concerns; a
nonprofit organization or structured on a not-for-profit basis; and,
meeting regularly as defined by the organization.
Adjunct membership dues are $72.00 for FY2010.
Membership dues are payable by 31 October of each fiscal year.
